The Ultima™ CardiO2® / PFX system combines two superior technologies into one singularly powerful solution. Offering maxiumum flexibility to perform both Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and gas exchange testing. A single software platform seamlessly controls PFT, gas exchange and ECG components. The result is an all-in-one, easy-to-use metabolic stress testing system with pulmonary function capabilities.

  • Scheduler allows for automatic warm-up so the system is always ready for testing.

Test Specific Quick Calibration

The calibration tower allows for simplified gas calibration based on the test being performed (pulmonary function or metabolic) without compromising accuracy of test results and lab efficiency.

Proprietary Breath-by-Breath Testing Method

Offers superior breath measurement during both rest and exercise. Our preVent® flow sensor offers numerous advantages over other flow devices. The preVent is small, lightweight and comfortable. It can be either cleaned or discarded between patients yet meets all ATS/ERS requirements for accuracy.
 

12-Lead ECG is Powered by Mortara Instrument, Inc.

Mortara is the world leader in ECG technology. The Mortara system provides automated options, such as automatic arrhythmia detection and event marking to simplify test interpretation. An optional wireless ECG provides freedom for the patient and eliminates interference caused by traditional cable movement—producing a cleaner, higher-quality tracing.

Superior Infection Control

Having clear and defined infection control policies is important for your protection.

We give you three options for infection control - you make the choice that is right for you!

1. Change: simply change the filter and keep the same preVent® flow sensor and BreathPath™ patient circuit (Pulmonary Function Only).

2. Re-Use: change the flow sensor and patient circuit between patients and replace with disinfected components.

3. Dispose: dispose of the flow sensor and patient circuit after each patient.
