Description

Elevate your clinical diagnostic capabilities with our two-day, expert-led Pulmonary Function Training at the MGC Diagnostics Headquarters in Saint Paul, MN. These focused sessions offer a unique learning experience centered on Ascent™ software, providing both new users and seasoned professionals with the in-depth knowledge and practical skills needed to utilize our solutions more effectively. Participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that covers everything from patient testing, system calibration, to advanced diagnostics, including Lung Diffusion Testing (DLCO), Plethysmography, and Quality Control.

This training features essential hands-on experience in our in-house training facility, where you will work directly with the Platinum Elite™ body plethysmograph, Ultima PF, and Ultima PFX. You will master the full spectrum of pulmonary testing - including spirometry, Lung Diffusion Testing (DLCO), FRC (N2 Washout), Plethysmography, and MIP/MEP - ensuring you return to your facility with the expertise to deliver highly accurate results. This curriculum is designed to meet your needs and enhance your professional proficiency.

Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be better able to:

  • Navigate and customize the Ascent™ software platform to streamline clinical workflows, manage patient data, and configure security and predicted sets for precise reporting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in performing a full range of pulmonary diagnostics, including calibration, lung volumes (FRC Washout and Pleth), DLCO, and specialized maneuvers like MIP/MEP and BRP testing.
  • Operate and maintain MGC Diagnostics hardware, specifically the Platinum Elite™ body plethysmograph, Ultima PF, and Ultima PFX, while applying rigorous quality control protocols to ensure clinical accuracy.

Cancellation & Refund Policy 

No refunds will be provided for cancellation. Registrants can transfer to a different date with a written notice received at least 30 days prior to the scheduled training. Registrations may be transferred to another person within the organization at no additional cost. Training must be scheduled within 12 months of purchase.
