Children's National Medical Center's Pulmonary Diagnostic Department and MGC Diagnostics have partnered to offer a unique one-day Summer PFT Forum. This unique PFT forum will provide up to 5 MD/DC Board of Respiratory Care Credits and will take place will take place on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at Children's National Medical Centert in Washington D.C.

This special event will provide an opportunity for all respiratory care practitioners to advance their knowledge and skills in the area of pulmonary and cardiopulmonary diagnostics testing.  Specific topics will include:

  • FOT Testing vs. Spirometry
  • DLco in Review
  • Lung Volume Measurement using plethysmography or Nitrogen Washout (to include LCI measurement)
  • Quality Control and Quality Assurance
  • Diagnostic Tools used in Severe Asthma in Pediatrics
