Firefighters, doctors, fitness buffs and average Joe’s step up to make a positive impact for those affected by lung disease. The annual Fight for Air Climb is one of the American Lung Association’s signature fundraising events. Over the last several years, the Fight for Air Climb events have raised more than $53 million. The funds raised support research, education and patient programs to help the millions of Americans impacted by asthma, COPD, lung cancer, air pollution and other lung diseases.
MGC Diagnostics has been a proud sponsor of this special event in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the past FIVE years. “It’s one of our favorite events every year,” said Todd Austin, CEO of MGC Diagnostics Corporation, “Watching firefighters in full gear run up the stairs, sometimes 2-3 times back-to-back, really gives you perspective and a personal sense of accomplishment when you reach the top.”
